Subscribing to our Calendar
Subscribing to Wiverton calendars means that you will be able to see Parish events alongside your own personal appointments in your online calendar. What’s more, any changes or additions to the Wiverton Calendar will be automatically synchronised to your calendar, so you will always be up-to-date with Parish affairs.
If you already use Google Calendar for your online calendar, the process is very simple:
- Make sure you are logged in to your Google account
- Click on the
logo at the foot of any Wiverton Calendar (the one with all of the events can be found by clicking here) - You will be redirected to your Google Calendar page where you should select which Wiverton calendars you wish to see integrated with your own personal calendar
- Click ADD ALL and these calendars will be added to your list of “Other Calendars”
- You can toggle the visibility or change the colour of each calendar according to your preference
- Additions and changes to the Wiverton Calendar will be automatically synchronised to your own view, so you will always be up-to-date
If you use an online calendar other than Google Calendar (e.g. Yahoo!, Outlook, iCloud) the process is a bit more involved, but should still only take you a couple of minutes and will only need to be done once.
- Open your personal online calendar (on a computer, rather than a phone)
- Look for an option named Add Calendar, Subscribe, Follow or similar (it may be on the calendar page itself or under an option such as Settings, Actions or
) - Select the option to specify From the internet, URL, Address, iCal or similar
- Click on one of the buttons below to copy the appropriate URL link* and then paste it into the box displayed on the Add Calendar form and click OK (or Submit, Add Calendar, Save, etc.)
