Southwell Minster looking for new lay members of Chapter

The Diocesan Lay Chair has asked that details of the vacancies for 3 new lay members of The Minster Chapter are published as widely as possible.

This is a a great opportunity for any of our lay reps who believe they have the qualities needed to help the The Minster grow disciples as the Cathedral church of the Diocese.

The appointments are for 3 years and will involve 8 meetings a year on top of a couple of ‘Vision days’. This looks like a terrific opportunity to be involved at the heart of Church life here in the diocese. I am quite sure that in a post pandemic world the next 3 years will prove to be an exciting time both for the Minster and for someone with enthusiasm and dynamism to grow both its reach and its disciples.
