Setting God’s People Free – Postponed

With very great regret it has been decided to postpone the conference for the laity on February 1st. Too few people have signed up to justify bringing over to Southwell the quality speakers who we had booked and who had freely given of their time.

Bearing in mind the success of the event last year this is a real blow, especially as we announced the date over 6 months ago. I am meeting with the other deanery lay chairs next week and it is hoped that a new date later in the year might be offered. My apologies to those of you in the parish who had signed up to attend – thank you for your support. Such a disappointment.
