Praying the Psalms through Lent
During Lent, starting with the week commencing 19 February, our Home Groups will be studying the Psalms through a specially-devised course presented on video by our rector, Revd David Rowe.
Each Sunday throughout Lent, David will preach his sermon on a different Psalm and this will serve as the basis for the study. If you are unable to follow the sermon in church, you can catch up with the recording on the website.
You are also encouraged to purchase for yourself Paula Gooder’s book: “Journalling the Psalms”. Please take your time to work through this book at your own pace.
You can sign up for one of our Lent study groups in the parish and join with others as we reflect on what the Holy Spirit might be saying to us in this season.
If you are not already a member of one of our Home Groups but would like to join the Lent Study, please contact Jane, our Administrator, to discuss which one of the following would be most suitable for you:
