Connecting a parish mailbox to Windows Mail

Parish Email > Connect to Windows Mail

If you have a parish email account and would like to access it via Windows Mail, here is how to go about it.

1. Connecting your parish mailbox

Open the Windows Mail app and click on Accounts, then + Add Account

The Add an account window will be displayed.

Scroll to the bottom of the list and click on Other account.

Enter your parish email address, your full name and your parish mailbox password.

Click and hold on the eye symbol to check you have entered your password correctly.

Click Sign in.

Once the account details have been checked, you should see a ‘success’ message.

Your parish account will now appear in the list of accounts.

2. Using your connected mailbox

In future, whenever you use Windows Mail, you will be able to select which mailbox you wish to access.

You will see a list of available mailboxes in the left-hand pane. Click on the one you want to access and you will be able to view and send messages from that mailbox.
