Third Sunday after Trinity
Sid Mitchell (LLM-in-training) will be leading the service this Sunday, Katharine Bacon (LLM) will be preaching, Hilary Tabron will be leading us in intercessions, Ann Mansell will be bringing us the bible readings and Dorothy Thompson will be leading us in sung worship.
We hope that as many as possible will watch this video at
10.30 am on Sunday 20 June
You might find it helpful to display a copy of the Weekly Notices side-by-side with the video or have a printed copy handy. The responses for the congregation will appear as subtitles in the video, but if you would like to download a copy of the Order of Service, please click here and the file will open in a new tab.
The video will remain on the website afterwards, so that you can watch it again later (or for the first time, if you missed it before!)
Click on the image below to watch the video. It will ‘go live’ 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. You might want to start the video a little early, just to check everything is working OK before pausing it () and pressing Play () again at the time in blue above. You can make the video fill the whole screen by pressing the button at the bottom right of the video window once it is playing.
Time for a Cuppa
We are replicating the tradition of ‘refreshments’ after the service with an online Zoom meeting at 11.30 am. You will obviously have to provide your own tea/coffee and cake/biscuits, but you should be able to enjoy the company of others who have shared in the service and catch up with news. For reasons of online security, we no longer publish Zoom links in the Weekly Notices or on our website. You can contact Robin Coles if you haven’t yet subscribed and need the link for this Sunday’s meeting. If you haven’t used Zoom before, click here for some guidelines on how to get started.
As we start to return to ‘normal’ and are able to meet more regularly in person, this week will be the last online Time for a Cuppa. For those who enjoy the opportunity to meet online, we suggest taking part in the online Morning Prayer services. Click here for more details and to request an invitation.
If your browser ‘hangs’ when you press the Submit Feedback button, please reload this page by clicking the browser page refresh button (to the left or right of the address bar, where it says wivertoninthevale.co.uk/…) and try again.
This will be the final online recorded service (for now, at least). From next week we shall be recording a live service each week and then making it available on our website within a couple of days so that it can be enjoyed at a time convenient to you. Check the website for further updates.
