OneLIFE Barbecue – Colston Bassett

On the Saturday evening of the One Life Mission 70 villagers and friends came together for a BBQ at the Colston Bassett Village Hall which was attended by Alison White, Bishop of Hull. A memorable night was had by all and not only did Alison address the gathering but also had engaging chats with most of the tables. The burgers and sausages were very well received [gluten free from the butchers in Cropwell Bishop] and expertly cooked by Lorrie. They were followed by a huge selection of delicious sweets and Stilton cheese donated by Colston Bassett Dairy. A raffle raised £250 for St John’s but the goodwill generated was considerably more!
