Moth Morning – Colston Bassett – Saturday 23 July 2022

About 20 people gathered in the churchyard of St John the Divine at 7.30am to see what had been attracted to the ‘traps’ set up by Paul Dulwich (Moth Correspondent of the South Notts Wildlife Group) the night before. They were treated to an incredibly diverse collection ranging from the barely visible to the size of your thumb; pale and drab to beautifully marked; common as muck to rarely seen!

After a fascinating 90 minutes, participants were treated to ‘coffee and croissant’ as a reward for their early start to the weekend.
