On Maundy Thursday, we would normally have a special celebration of Holy Communion as we ‘meet in the Upper Room’ the evening before our Lord was crucified. But this year via Zoom, we shall simply reflect (using words, music and pictures) on the themes of the three Bible Readings used for this Service – Exodus 12: 1-8, 11-14; 1 Corinthians 11: 23-29; John 13: 1-15. The Confession, Intercessions and Dismissal will be taken from “Lent – Holy Week – Easter Services and Prayers”.

Having been ‘admitted’ to the meeting, please ‘mute’ your microphone to provide stillness while people ‘enter’. Please stay ‘muted’ unless you are reading one of the passages from Scripture. We shall ‘unmute’ for the Words of the Peace.

At the end, having come out of Zoom, we shall move into the Garden of Gethsemane and you are invited to listen to ‘Gethsemane’ by Stuart Townend for the conclusion of our worship together.
