Light Party, Plumtree – 31 October 2019
At St Mary’s, Plumtree we will be celebrating the 31st October as we have for the past couple of years, by throwing a children’s Light Party. Our venue for the event, the Burnside Hall on the corner of Church Lane and Church Hill, will be awash with colour and light and filled with fun-packed crafts, great food, games, activities and songs.
This fun event, organised by the Mission Group at St Mary’s and led by Joyce Saywell, is for children aged between 5 and 11 years old and their parents / caregivers. The theme will be light and bright and offers primary school aged children an alternative way of celebrating with their friends, without the dark and scary aspect that is associated with Hallowe’en. Lots of treats, but no tricks!!
The doors open at 5.45 pm and home time is 8.00 pm.
