Lee Abbey residential retreat – June 2026

We are planning to go as a group from the Parish to join in the community at Lee Abbey, Devon. We will go from Monday 15^th June to Friday 19^th June (4 nights) and join the program “Mindful of our Wellbeing, Mindful of God” run by Shaun Lambert.

The cost varies depending on the number in the group but an approximate figure is £400 each. A deposit of £25 is required, but this is refundable if the place is cancelled at least a month in advance and partly refunded if nearer the time.

Lee Abbey is a very special, beautiful place. I have been there 3 times (a long time ago) and Ann and Katharine have both been also. It is set in stunning scenery, close to a private cove and chapel, second to none! There will be opportunities to worship, join in the teaching, go for walks or just sit and be quiet. I am sure it will be a very memorable, faith-uplifting few days.

Please let me know if you would like to come, remembering you could cancel as late as May, saying whether you need a single or double room, ensuite or not. I would like to book asap to secure places. We will decide on travel arrangements (hired coach, train and taxi, or private cars) when we know who is coming.

Lee Abbey have sent me a number of rooms that we could use for 15th-19th June 2026. There is a mixture of single and double rooms, with only some having ensuite facilities. I shall have to allocate them, mainly, but not entirely, on a “first come, first served” basis so the sooner you contact me the better.
