We’re looking for a passionate, creative, and faith-filled Kids & Families Lead to join the Parish of Wiverton in the Vale and help children and young families encounter the transforming love of Jesus.

Working alongside our Rector, you’ll help shape and grow our vision for children and families across our nine-village rural parish. The role includes:

  • Working alongside our Rector to develop and deliver our children and families discipleship pathway
  • Leading engaging school assemblies and collective worship
  • Helping children and families connect with church and grow in faith
  • Exploring opportunities for new family-focused worshipping communities
  • Recruiting, encouraging, and developing volunteers

The role is 18 hours per week, worked across three days (to be agreed) plus Sundays, with flexibility for key church events and festivals. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential.

The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and there is an occupational requirement for the post holder to be a communicant member of the Church of England or a member of a church belonging to Churches Together in Britain & Ireland.
