Walking through Holy Week together

We would love to be able to share events in churches through Holy Week, but sadly, because of the ongoing restrictions, this is still not advisable.

Instead, we will be sharing all these events with our Deanery neighbours in the 3 Ws Benefice (Willoughby, Wysall and Widmerpool), and all will be via Zoom.

If you already receive invitations to Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer or Time for a Cuppa through our regular mailings, you will automatically receive links for all these Holy Week events. Similarly, if you currently receive Zoom service invitations from the 3 Ws Benefice, you will receive the Holy Week links too.

For reasons of online security, we do not publish links to live meetings on our website. Also, to ensure adequate safeguarding, we require full contact details of all participants.

If you don’t currently receive online service invitations from us, but would like to join in with any or all of these events, click here and follow the instructions to receive invitations to Holy Week services by email. Please ensure that you provide your name, address, phone number and email address and then tick the Holy Week services box under ZOOM invitations. If you are not known to the meeting organiser, we will contact you before we send you any invitations in order to ensure the safeguarding of everyone in the group. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

If you have not used Zoom before, don’t worry, it is very straightforward – click here to read some guidelines for setting it up and using it.
