Farewell to Bishop Tony – Cancelled

A farewell service for Bishop Tony and his wife Lucille will be held at Southwell Minster on Sunday 22nd March at 3.30pm.

Everyone is welcome; if you would like to attend please RSVP to jacky.bates@southwell.anglican.org   Refreshments will be served after the service.

Bishop Tony is retiring after 42 years in ordained ministry. He was consecrated as the Bishop of Sherwood at York Minster in March 2006.
“It has been a great privilege to serve in the diocese and to be part of its vision for Growing Disciples in every parish,” said Bishop Tony, who will be 68 upon his retirement.
