Electoral Roll – 2025 Renewal
The Electoral Roll is the basic list in every parish of all those entitled to vote on elections within the Church of England. Those entitled to have their names on this roll have to be 16 years of age or more and they must reside in the relevant parish or be regular worshippers in church whose roll they wish to join. The roll is completely renewed every six years, at which point all members have to re-apply for membership or else their names will be deleted. By this means, the continuing validity of the roll is maintained. The Roll is then reviewed each year before the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM).
Only those on the Electoral Roll are entitled to attend, and vote at, the Annual Parochial Church Meeting, which will be held in 2025 on Sunday 6 April.

The Electoral Roll was last renewed in 2019 and following the 2024 revision there were 131 names on the roll for our parish.
It is now time for the 2025 renewal.
Even if you are currently on the Electoral Roll, you need to re-apply to be on the renewed roll. Representatives of our churches will be contacting all members currently on the roll, asking them if they wish to continue on the roll. Those that do will be asked to complete a fresh application form.
If you would like to be on the new roll, meet the criteria outlined in the opening paragraph, and would like to apply to be on the electoral roll of the Parish of Wiverton in the Vale, please click here to download an application form. When you have completed it, please return it to the Electoral Roll Officer or any member of the PCC.
If you are currently on the roll but do not complete a form, your name will be removed from the roll.
