Current Service Schedule
We encourage our parishioners to ‘commute’ to wherever our weekly Holy Communion is being hosted as it rotates around the six churches in the parish. We have found that his encourages fellowship and co-operation across the parish. Each church (with Granby/Elton considered as one unit for scheduling purposes) will have at least one service a month, with most having more than one.

Pattern of services
We maintain a regular pattern of services across the parish as well as holding baptisms, weddings and funerals to meet the needs of our parishioners. Holy Communion is celebrated at a church somewhere in the parish each Sunday and we also offer a variety of traditional and informal services throughout the church year. Family Praise followed by afternoon tea is enjoyed by people of all ages and has particular appeal for young families. Other regular events include special services for festivals such as Mothering Sunday, Ash Wednesday, Easter, Ascension Day, Harvest Festival, Christingle and Christmas as well as re-enactments of the last supper on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday pilgrimages across the countryside, sunrise services on Easter Sunday and Remembrance Day commemorations. We also offer morning worship, choir-led evensongs, healing services, pets’ services, environment services and reflective memorial services for the bereaved. A Father’s Day service is held each year in a local pub. Quarterly United Village services are valued by people of different denominations. We enjoy occasional celebratory worship with refreshments afterwards, most recently as “Pimm’s, Pews and Praise”.
