Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2024

It may be too early to think about Christmas, but we do need to begin this year’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal. We shall again be supporting T4U, the charity that sends the boxes to Romania.

The flat pack boxes and leaflets, that you will need to fill a box, will be available to pick up at the Langar service on October 8th and also from each church in the Parish.

The filled boxes can be returned to a church in the Parish, but, better still, if you come to the November service at Langar, you can bring them to be blessed. I’ll let you know the final date for handing them in when I know it myself.

The cost-of-living crisis caused by the war in Ukraine has hit hard in this country, but much harder in Eastern Europe and the children in the poor communities suffer.
