Whilst our church buildings are closed, we shall be preparing regular videos for publication on our website.
The service this Sunday will be led by Revd Rachel. Katharine Bacon will be preaching, Sid Mitchell will be leading the intercessions, Dorothy Thompson will be leading sung worship and Hilary Tabron will be sharing a testimony.
This will provide us all with an opportunity to pause and reflect on God’s word and our response to it.
We hope that as many as possible will watch this video at
10:30 am on Sunday 24 May
so that we can share the experience of corporate prayer and worship whilst maintaining social distancing.
You might find it helpful to display a copy of the Weekly Notices side-by-side with the video or have a printed copy handy.
The video will remain on the website afterwards, so that you can watch it again later (or for the first time, if you missed it before!)
Click on the image below to watch the video. It will ‘go live’ 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. You might want to start the video a little early, just to check everything is working OK before pausing it () and pressing Play () again at the time in blue above. You can make the video fill the whole screen by pressing the button at the bottom right of the video window once it is playing.
Time for a Cuppa
We are planning to replicate the tradition of ‘refreshments’ after the service with an online Zoom meeting at 11.45 am. You will obviously have to provide your own tea/coffee and cake/biscuits, but you should be able to enjoy the company of others who have shared in the service and catch up with news. To join the meeting, click here at 11.45 am. If you haven’t used Zoom before, click here for some guidelines on how to get started.
The next scheduled video is Sunday 31 May at 10:30 am. Check the website beforehand for details.
