Cliff Richard and The Shadows Tribute Night, Cotgrave – 8 November 2019

Cliff Richard and The Shadows Tribute Night

Barnstone Bowls Club’s efforts to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support continue on 8th November when the next Tribute Night is happening at Cotgrave Welfare. This time it’s Jimmy Jemaine and The Knight’s Shadows.
The theory is that we have a great night of fun and top class entertainment at a more than reasonable price, Cotgrave Welfare sells loads of food and drink and Macmillan receive a large lump of money for their funds. What is there not to like? Everyone wins.

If you enjoy a good night out this really is a ‘not-to-be-missed’ event. Jimmy Jemaine won Stars In their Eyes. He also won the 2018 National Tribute Act of The Year award. He is unbelievable. He grew up with Sir Cliff, he has appeared as Cliff in a nationally released film and is still a close friend. Sir Cliff asked him to appear at his birthday celebration. Plus you’ll get a good helping of Shadows music such as Wonderful Land, Foot Tapper and Apache. At £10 a ticket this night really is one not to miss AND that includes a free raffle.

If you’ve not been to one before there is only way to find out what you’ve been missing and why we sell over 250 tickets regularly for these events. We anticipate a full house for this one. Artists of this calibre bring their own following and some regular attenders book tickets for large parties of people. They are an ideal chance to have fun with your friends or come on your own and join in.

The dancing is hard to resist but you really can’t help singing along. AND EVERY PENNY GOES TO MACMILLAN. Get your ticket now by ringing Steve on 01949 861353 or John on 01949 860301 There will also be some at Cotgrave Welfare and at Cropwell Bishop Doctors Surgery (ask for Ruth).

To date, as a result of generous support of a lot of wonderful people we have managed to raise over £40,000 for this incredible charity and whilst ever you back the events we will keep going.

See you there on 8th November. Doors open when the act is set up and sound-checks etc done but no later than 8.00 p.m. Try not to be late; we’ve a huge amount of partying to fit into one evening.
