The service this Sunday will be led by Katharine Bacon (Reader), Revd Rachel will be preaching, Hilary Tabron will be leading the intercessions, Josie McGuirk will give a reflection on the Call to Prayer for George Floyd and Dorothy Thompson will be leading sung worship.

Thats it!

Whilst our church buildings are closed, we are preparing regular videos for publication on our website. This will provide us all with an opportunity to pause and reflect on God’s word and our response to it.

We hope that as many as possible will watch this video at

10:30 am on Sunday 14 June

so that we can share the experience of corporate prayer and worship whilst maintaining social distancing.

You might find it helpful to display a copy of the Weekly Notices side-by-side with the video or have a printed copy handy. The responses for the congregation will appear as subtitles in the video, but if you would like to download a copy of the Order of Service, please click here.

The video will remain on the website afterwards, so that you can watch it again later (or for the first time, if you missed it before!)

Click on the image below to watch the video. It will ‘go live’ 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. You might want to start the video a little early, just to check everything is working OK before pausing it () and pressing Play () again at the time in blue above. You can make the video fill the whole screen by pressing the button at the bottom right of the video window once it is playing.

Time for a Cuppa

We are replicating the tradition of ‘refreshments’ after the service with an online Zoom meeting at 11:30 am. You will obviously have to provide your own tea/coffee and cake/biscuits, but you should be able to enjoy the company of others who have shared in the service and catch up with news. To join the meeting, click on the link in the Weekly Notices at 11:30. If you haven’t used Zoom before, click here for some guidelines on how to get started.

We would love to know how many are joining us in these services and what you think of them. We can tell how many 'views' we get through YouTube but we have no idea how many are watching each screen or what you thought!

We very much value your feedback and would be most grateful if you could spare a few seconds to answer the questions below. All responses are anonymous (unless you choose to give us your name) and no comments will be published unless you give us your consent.

Yours in Christ,

Reverend Rachel Mitchell
