A message from the rector

“Wiverton in the Vale is a Parish with six parish churches across ten villages and hamlets. In order to serve these communities and maintain mission and ministry, we have a team of worship leaders and preachers to cover Sunday and midweek services.

This team is led by me but during my term of office as Area Dean I am assisted by my retired colleague, The Revd Canon Keith Turner. We are ably supported by two Licensed Readers, a Recognised Lay Minister and other lay people who lead and/or preach or involve themselves in children’s work. With the help of many additional volunteers, we are able to offer four services on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays each month and two services on the 1st and 5th Sundays.

We would like to invite you to join us wherever and whenever you can; if you have children look for the  on the rotas.

If you have any queries about weddings, funerals, thanksgiving for the birth of a child, baptisms (Christening), confirmation or Admission to Communion before confirmation, please contact me for an informal chat.

We look forward to meeting you.”
