About Us

The Parish
We are a parish of eight churches in the Vale of Belvoir; 7 open churches, each of which is a parish church, 1 ruined church and 9 villages and hamlets. We are of an open evangelical persuasion and offer a variety of worship from Book of Common Prayer to Common Worship, Taizé style, healing service and our more contemporary “Praise Night”.

The Rector says:

“As the only ordained person in the team I lead all of the Communion services and conduct weddings, funerals and baptisms. However we have a team of lay people who lead and preach at other services.

You are welcome to join us at any service; if you have children look for the  on the rotas.

If you are interested in getting married in any of our churches (excluding St Mary’s Barnstone and St Mary’s Colston Bassett, neither of which are licensed for marriage) or want to enquire about baptism, thanksgiving for the gift of a child, confirmation or admission to Holy Communion, please contact me on 0115 989 3172 or email.
